“I worked with Dean Valentini closely on the Committee on Instruction, an academic committee that helps define various critical aspects of the College’s academic curricula. Dean Valentini’s simultaneous commitment to his own personal pedagogical philosophy and his ability to integrate ideas from the other professors in the room were to me a defining aspect of his leadership of the College. I remain inspired and honored to have been in that room and to have observed the dean in action.”
